One of the most representative artists of his generation, professor at the Academy of Arts and medallist of the Order of Honour, Horea Paștina remains one of the most prolific painters of the last decades, carrying out an extensive activity of aesthetic activities. The surrounding nature, be it the landscape or the objects found around the studio, became the main source of inspiration for the painter driven by curiosity, the desire for knowledge and revelation. His work lives under a real vision of the whole, the images arousing a metaphysical mystery. The physical limits of objects are easily overcome by technical innovations in the understanding of matter. Colour, paste and brushwork are placed under the unanimous control of the creative soul, driven by spiritual instinct, which directs the image from the real to the concept, without detaching itself from the actual form.
