The artwork is reproduced in the album "Georgeta NÄpÄruÈ (1930-1997)", Verlag Buchkunst Berlin, p. 38. The artwork was part of the exhibition "Contrapunct. O retrospectivÄ Octav Grigorescu â Georgeta NÄpÄruÈ", National Museum of Contemporary Art, Bucharest, April 24 - September 30, 2018.

Carrying an entire living world in themselves, celebrating its events with rituals, ceremonies, and legends of old, the works of Georgeta Năpăruș become colourful expressions of a confidential universe. All things that come into being under the stroke of her brush are marked by a mysterious mingling of dream and reality which, lured by phantasy, undergoes metamorphoses, thus acquiring new senses and new dimensions. With an affinity open to the oneiric, her spirit watches with lucidity, exploiting the equivocal and polyvalence, but keeping the allusion of reality, needed for the construction in the symbol.
