Obverse description: At the center, Mircea the Elder, crowned, without a cloak, represented frontally, holding a spear in his right hand.
Reverse Legend: +PЄ[...]ꭒ nIλnB
Reverse description: At the center, a horizontally shield, surmounted by a contour eagle helmet facing left, acting as a crest. The shield is split and has the first quarter full, and the second quarter shows four bands.

The coin is one of the rarest issues put into circulation during the reign of Mircea the Elder, this being an issue of the ruler of Wallachia associated with a character named Petrusian or Petruslan. This Petrusian is not mentioned in the written sources of the time, its existence being attested by these currency types.
