Obverse: "IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P" Reverse: "S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI / S - C" On the coin's obverse, one can find the Emperor's bust wearing a laurel wreath and oriented towards right, surrounded by the Latin abbreviation of the phrase "Imperator, Caesar, Nervae Traiano Augustus, Germanicus, Dacicus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestate, Consul Quintum, Pater Patriae", while its reverse presents a personification of peace with a part of the body oriented towards left, holding an olive branch and a fertile crescent in her hand. Next to it, there is the inscription "Senatus Populusque Romanus Optimo Principi - Senatus Consultum".
