Obverse: "IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P" Reverse: "S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI / S - C" On the obverse, the coin presents Emperor Trajan's bust, oriented towards right and surrounded by the abbreviation of the Latin phrase "Imperator, Caesar, Nervae Traiano Augustus, Germanicus, Dacicus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestate, Consul Quintum, Pater Patriae", while the reverse comprises a scene where a Dacian is knocked down to the ground by the Emperor, alongside the inscription "Senatus Populusque Romanus Optimo Principi - Senatus Consultum".
