Obverse: "IMP TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P COS V P P" Reverse: "SPQR OPTIMO PRINCIPI" On the coin's obverse, there is a representation of Emperor Trajan's bust, oriented towards right, wearing a laurel wreath, alongside the abbreviated Latin phrases reading "Imperator, Caesar, Nervae Traiano Augustus, Germanicus, Dacicus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestate, Consul Quintum, Pater Patriae", while on its reverse, one can find the image of a grieving Dacian, after losing the battle, next to a Dacian falx and surrounded by the expression "Senatus Populusque Romanus Optimo Principi".
