Encriera, piesă masivă din cristal, are formă de trunchi de piramidă, cu muchiile teşite, iar faţetele compartimentate și decorate cu palmete tăiate adânc. Capacul teşit are un mâner bilobat din frunze și fructe de ginkgo biloba. Tăviţa-suport are anterior un locaş adâncit pentru ustensile de scris cu decupări alungite şi aplicaţii de frunze de ginkgo biloba.
