O creangă de castan cu numeroase frunze şi fructe decorează tava dreptunghiulară cu buza puţin ridicată şi colţurile proeminente. Creanga, aşezată oblic pe tavă este figurată într-o creştere atent dozată, de la basorelieful tijei la altorelieful frunzelor ce ies din cadrul tăvii. Piesa este semnată în colţul din drepta jos. Leon Kann sculptor, specializat pe lucrări mici, a reuşit să surprindă spiritul Art Nouveau într-o manieră plină de farmec.
