26. Biedermeier table, for living room, with veneer made of cherry, approx. 1830

Living room cherry Biedermeier table, made of veneered cherry wood. The substructure consists of an ebonized central column, narrowed at the bottom, ending 10 cm from the base plate. The centre column rests on a base plate with three curved legs. The round worktop is screwed onto the column. This Biedermeier cherry wood table has had its surface restored and polished with shellac. It is in a good state of preservation, showing minimum signs of wear due to age. These include minor scratches. The frame area features small veneer additions.
