Inscribed at the base: “I will spend my life and practice my art in innocence and purity. (Hippocratic Oath). Whatever I see or hear in society during, or even outside of my profession, I will keep silent about what never needs to be disclosed, considering discretion as a duty in such a case.”

The inscription at the base of the work, representing fragments from the Hippocratic Oath, translates as follows: "I will lead my life and practice my craft with innocence and cleanliness. Whatever I would see or hear while practicing my profession, or even outside of it, I will not speak of what there is no need to reveal, considering that, in such circumstances, keeping a secret is a duty."
