The specimen is part of the historical image series published in Iași by Gheorghe Asachi starting in 1833 at the Albina Institute (printing office) he founded, where he, among other things, printed the first newspaper in Moldova, the Romanian Albina. On the verso is an ex-libris of the collector Dr. Mircea Petrescu.
