The jurist, writer and journalist Petre Pandrea (Petre Marcu by his name, 1904-1968) embarked on a journey to Germany shortly after the advent of the Nazi regime. His book describes what he saw, interpreted in his own key marked by critical spirit and strong personal opinions.
