Jorge Burruchaga is a former Argentine footballer known for his decisive role in the 1986 World Cup. The victorious goal in the final against West Germany was scored by him, thus helping Argentina win its second world title. He played as an offensive midfielder and had a solid career at clubs in Argentina, as well as in France, being appreciated for his technique and intelligence in the game. His most famous moment remains the goal in the 1986 final, alongside the performance of the team led by Diego Maradona.
