The copy is a special one in several respects:
1. it is the princeps edition of one of the most important scientific, historical works of Nicolae Bălcescu, published during his life.
2. It includes an ex libris of the Reading Cabinet (Library) opened by C.A. Rosetti along with his comrade, newspaper writer Eric Winterhalder, with whom he organized the newspaper "Românul" ("The Romanian") and the related publishing house.
3. It contains the ex libris of the historian and researcher Nestor Camariano, who asserted himself as one of the most valuable researchers of the Greek community in Romania.
The binding is vintage, made of faux leather.
