The copy was offered as a school award to Constantin C. Arion, student in the third grade at the St. Sava High School in Bucharest, as attested by two handwritten notes, one by Arion, on the back cover of the title sheet. Constantin C. Arion (1855-1923) became one of the leaders of the Conservative Party during the reign of King Carol I, was a minister several times, member of Parliament, professor at the Faculty of Law within the University of Bucharest.
