On the blue and green background of the icon, the Mother of God is depicted on an imperial throne, holding the Infant on her left arm and in her right hand the stem of a flower (probably a lily). The Archangels Michael and Gabriel, depicted above clouds, at the top of the icon, indicating the iconographic type "Lady of the Angels". The Mother of God is dressed according to tradition in a blue dress, over which she wears a red malforion embroidered on the edges with embroidery and strings of pearls. The Infant Jesus is dressed in royal clothes. The folds of the garments are graphically made, with black. In the same way, the garments of the painted green and red Archangels are made. The features of the faces, particularly expressive, are graphically done, with large, elongated eyes, arched eyebrows, long and thin nose.
