The stained glass technique was invented somewhere in the 10th century and was used mainly to decorate Gothic churches. The pieces of glass, drawn and painted by hand, were attached to a lead or tin frame that had rods arranged to assemble them into a whole. If, in the beginning, the stained glass windows had the role of sending directly to different biblical moments, gradually their mission becomes rather decorative. This artwork stands out for the beauty of the details and the fluency of the narrative.
