A royal icon, Jesus Christ was one of the icons of an iconostasis from the post-Brâncovenesc period. Against the blue background at the top and red at the bottom, is rendered Jesus Christ, clothed in red chiton and blue himation, blessing with the right hand while the left hand keeps the gospel open. Around his head he has a cruciferous halo, of small dimensions, above his shoulders are represented the intercessors Mother of Christ and Saint John the Baptist.
