Research information
The artwork was purchased by Academy member Roman Moldovan, following the Ion Èuculescu personal exhibition at the Romanian Athenaeum, Bucharest, 1947. The painting took part in the "Ion Èuculescu â Un labirint fÄrÄ Ã®nceput Èi sfârÈit" ("Ion Èuculescu - A Labyrinth without a Beginning and an End") exhibition, Nicodim Gallery, Bucharest, 2014.
PROVENANCE
The acad. prof. dr. Roman Moldovan (1911-1996) historical collection. Economist, sociologist and full member of the Romanian Academy, he has published over 200 scientific and didactic papers.
