The artwork was part of the exhibition of the Official Salon, the Arts Pavilion, Bucharest, 1928 and is mentioned and reproduced in the exhibition catalogue at cat. 141, p. 17, plate 1. The artwork was part of Gheorghe PetraÈcu's personal exhibition, CÄminul Artelor, Bucharest, April 1-26, 1928 and is mentioned in the exhibition catalogue at cat. 81, under the title "Flori, Barba împÄratului" and being part of the Ionescu-Quintus collection.
