The icon depicts the scene of Jesus Christ's resurrection. In the lower part, the tomb guarded by Roman soldiers is portrayed. Next to the tomb, on both sides, an angel and the Holy Women are depicted. In the upper part, surrounded by clouds, the Savior is represented, with the flag of victory in his hand. (M.B.)
