The painter of flowers, Corneliu Brudașcu composes his elegies from colorful bouquets (bells, sunflowers, roses or tulips) to which he reserves the freest incitements of the brush and unusual chromatic choices. He began drawing as a child, and managed to get to high school in Cluj, supported by his brother. His father was a church cantor, and his brother studied sculpture in Cluj, but chose not to continue his professional path in this field. Higher education will initially take place in Bucharest, and then the painter will transfer to Cluj. In the 1980s, Corneliu Brudașcu arrived at the palace of King Hussein of Jordan, whom he painted a portrait of. This detachment, which lasted for 8 months, was facilitated by an acquaintance of the artist: an Arab student at the Polytechnic in Cluj. In the early period of his work, flower works predominate, works through which the artist asserts himself as a colorist who painstakingly treats even the smallest details. Among the most important exhibitions on Brudașcu's easels, we mention participating in the exhibition "The World Goes Pop" at the Tate Museum in London, in 2015, as well as the personal exhibition at the Plan B gallery in Berlin, in 2017.
