Shaquille O'Neal is considered one of the best basketball players of all time, with a career spanning over 19 years in the NBA. With four NBA championship titles, Shaq primarily played from the center position, also known as "post man", dedicated to the tallest and strongest player on the team. O'Neal was part of the U.S. basketball team at the 1996 Olympic Games, the same year he joined the L.A.Lakers team. Due to his ability to score from short distance (dunk), the athlete ranks third in terms of goal average (58.2%). Alongside Willis Reed and Michael Jordan, he is the only player who has won simultaneously in the same year the NBA MVP, All-Star Game MVP and Finals MVP awards.
