KG" auction house, Osnabrück, Germany, September 28, 2009 2 lei 1881 - A similar lot was sold for $2600 at "Heritage World Coin Auctions", Dallas, Texas, January 4, 2015 5 Lei 1880 - It is the first official issue put into circulation with a face value of 5 lei. It was made by the German engraver Friedrich Wilhelm Kullrich, this version having his name inscribed on the pearl circle of the coin.
