Acacia is the most important of the vegetable symbols of Masonry, a symbol of immortality and faith (immortality presupposes faith), referring to the principle of immortality of the degree of Master. The origin of this symbol is related to the myth of Hiram, the architect of the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem.
