Pair of Louis Vuitton suitcases for travel
Description
Founded in 1854, with a history of over 150 years, the Louis Vuitton brand is one of the most well-known and beloved creators of luxury leather pieces. In 1858, Louis Vuitton created his first Trianon canvas suitcase in gray, the first luggage with a flat top and bottom, easy to store and transport. To protect his creations from copies, Vuitton replaced the Trianon canvas in 1872 with red and white striped canvas, and later, in 1876, with beige and brown striped canvas. To further prevent imitations, in 1888, the Damier checkered canvas was introduced. Since 1896, the famous LV monogram model has appeared, which is still used today. Thanks to his talent, Louis Vuitton became in 1853 the supplier to Empress Eugénie de Montijo, wife of Napoleon Bonaparte. Clearly, Louis Vuitton continues to perpetuate the ambitious vision of its namesake, who will forever be an innovator and visionary. His extraordinary legacy includes priceless savoir-faire that is evident in everything the brand does today.
