Lot consisting of three letters sent by Theodor Pallady to collector George Răut, 1930s
Description
The three correspondences were sent by Pallady to his good friend, financier and collector Gheorghe Răut. Written in French on vellum sheets, with pencil and black ink, they include personal information related to the painter's schedule, meetups with various mutual acquaintances, including artist Steriadi, as well as daily life and financial matters. The handwriting isn't very neat, but rather quick, in a highly familiar tone.
