Lazăr Popovici was a Romanian doctor of Transylvanian origins, settled in Vienna after completing his medical studies, organizer of a clinic, and member of the Parish Council of the Romanian church in the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The letters are written with black ink, are dated and signed, and refer to family matters, inheritance, and the payment of taxes.
