Description
The work was published by the Paris Photography Club in a luxury, bibliophile edition intended for collectors and enthusiasts of the field. The texts were written by several members of the photographic society under the coordination of its president, Paul Bourgeois. The volume is accompanied by numerous, rich, and splendid heliogravures, chromolithographs, and vignettes, some of which were created by artists, illustrators, photographers, and engravers known at the time, such as Robert Demachy or Constant Puyo. The covers are made of cardboard, decorated with stylized plant motifs, and the main cover features an extensive Art Nouveau decoration.
