The winemaker mentions General Averescu's visit and writes that the 1926 and 1927 crops were completely compromised, and the prices increased greatly, which led to an important decrease in consumption. As a result, he asked the General to give him the addresses of some great Romanian merchants who would export quality Romanian wines, to mix them with German ones and obtain cheaper table wine.
