Obverse: Greek maritime symbol: eagle on dolphin, IΣTPI legend, everything in quadratum incusum Reverse: two reversed heads of Dioscuri brothers - Knowing a new development stage, in the 5th Century B.C. at Istria was also the site of the first mints, with the Greek colony issuing its own coinage around 480-475 B.C. - The Istrian coins can be considered among the eldest money issues in the current space of Romania - They bear on the obverse the emblem of the city, represented by an eagle above a dolphin, facing left, and the legend in Greek characters IΣTPI (ISTRI) designating the name of the colony, all framed in a square (quadratum incusum)

The coin is bought from an auction house from Tumeltsham, Austria. The owner is in possession of all purchase documents, and their copies, containing personal data, as well as the erased prices, will be made available to the buyer.
