Aftermarket brown alligator leather strap and steel clasp. The dial has a crack. "Mariage" watches are wristwatches that combine the movement and/or case of old watches with parts of new watches. This technique is generally applied to pocket watches, which later become wristwatches, thus combining the original movement with a modern look. This conversion technique is becoming increasingly popular thanks to collectors who want to give a new use to old objects that are difficult to integrate into everyday life. Thus workshops specialising in this technique craft unique objects turning old pocket watches into wristwatches with modern cases.
