Sandu Florea, initially trained as an architect, dedicated himself to comic book illustration and created remarkable volumes, considered iconic works in the bibliography of the genre. Settled in the United States after the December 1989 revolution, he became one of the illustrators for the most important comic franchises, such as Batman. The two magazines, one Romanian and one American, carry the handwritten signature of the illustrator.
