106. "Desolate Genius" by Mihai Eminescu, with an introduction and notes by Ion Scurtu, Bucharest, 1904, with two ex-libris of ownership

"Geniu pustiu" represents the only novel written by Mihai Eminescu in 1868, published posthumously for the first time in 1903. The copy is part of the critical edition made by the professor and literary historian Ion Scurtu, published in Bucharest, at the "Minerva" publishing house in 1904. It includes two stamped ex-libris of ownership and inside facsimiles after the manuscript and a portrait of the poet in the form of a heliogravure. The cover is vintage, made of pergamonoid.
