The views from the Parisian parks were among Iser's favorite subjects during his stay in the French capital, especially after the second half of the 20s. After 1929, the year the Iser spouses established their residence and workshop at 130 Avenue de Versailles, Iser will predominantly paint the inner gardens between blocks, but especially the nearby parks, Sainte-Périne or the superb Bois de Boulogne.
