55. Imperial Icon on Wood, "God the Father-The Ancient of Days", probably Ukrainian school, Bukovina area, end of the 18th century, rare collector's item

The icon depicts God the Father, in the iconographic type of "The Ancient of Days" (according to the vision of the prophet Daniel) - with long white hair, a large white beard, a uncovered head, and blessing with his right hand while holding the scepter of power and eternal authority. The halo around the head has a rectangular shape.
