110. Grigore Cantacuzino [cca. 1850-1855]

Grigore Cantacuzino was born in 1829 into the family of Vornic Constantin Cantacuzino and Zoe Cantacuzino, being the second son of the family and the older brother of Alexandrina, the future wife of George Manu. The above image of Grigore is known to us from the votive painting made during the year 1853 by Gheorghe Tattarescu for the church on the Viișoara estate of the Cantacuzino family, an estate later managed by Grigore alongside his brother Ioan.
