Born in Botoșani, he studies under the wing of the pedagogue Alexandru Ciucurencu in Bucharest, at the "Nicolae Grigorescu" Fine Arts Institute. He makes his debut in Bucharest, but later takes part in numerous international exhibitions. He exhibits in Moscow, New Delhi, Belgrade, Zagreb, Budapest, Venice, Warsaw, Vilnius or Sofia and in many other internationally known cities. He receives awards: the First prize for painting of the Plastic Artists Union, one of the first prizes of the "Cântarea României" festival or the Honorary Diploma of Urziceni Municipality. He dedicates himself to both painting and graphics. He creates landscapes, portraits or still life paintings and, like his master before him, devotes himself to the study of colour. Green, an often occurrence in his works, intermingles with shades of grey in the work at hand, creating a synergy of traditional lands.
