On the back side, a text in Latin that describes the existence of Wallachia and Moldavia, a mention of several localities and the fact that the poet Ovidius was exiled in Tomis. Between 1632 and 1654, the ruler of Wallachia was Matei Basarab, who, just like Vasile Lupu, in Moldavia, introduces the written law code on the territory of Wallachia. The two collections of laws printed by Matei Basarab were "The Govora Codex" from 1640 and "Matei Basarab's Codex" from 1652. The enforcement of these written laws was the first step to the modernization of Wallachia.
