Dan Petrescu is one of the most important right backs in the history of Romanian football and a successful coach. Petrescu stood out for his tactical intelligence, determination and ability to influence the game both in defense and in attack. Petrescu began his career at the football club Steaua București, where he won a multitude of titles and made it to the final of the European Champions Cup in 1989. Within the National Team, his performance is undeniable. His goal against England at the 1998 World Cup remains one of the most memorable moments in the history of the national team. His remarkable journey has led to a transfer abroad, where he played for several famous clubs, among which is Chelsea, where he became one of the most appreciated lateral defenders in the Premiere League.
