On a green background at the top and ochre at the bottom, Saint Bishop Antipa and Saint Mina are depicted standing, according to the Byzantine typology. The inscriptions indicating the scenes are in Romanian, with Cyrillic characters. Saint Mina is celebrated on November 11. He is the saint who protects those who are wronged, quickly helping the unjustly treated in lawsuits and those who have lost something or been deceived. Saint Antipa lived during the time of Emperor Domitian, at the same time when the Holy Apostles were preaching the word, the miracles, the love, and the Resurrection of the Lord. They ordained Antipa as the bishop of Pergamon of Asia, when the Evangelist John was banished from Patmos, as also described in his epistle.
