Ana Bănică graduated from the Department of Graphic Arts of the National University of Arts, Bucharest. In 2008 she received the Henkel Prize for drawing, Romania. Selected exhibitions: AB, live drawing performance, NAG #9, Bucharest (2015); Oglindiri, Aiurart Contemporary Art Space, Bucharest, (2012); Badly Happy: Pain, Pleasure and Panic in Recent Romanian Art, Performance Art Institute, San Francisco, USA (2011); In the Name of Love, installation, Palatele Brâncovenești, Mogoșoaia (2009), estradiol, H’art Gallery, Bucharest (2008).
