The lot consists of the following pieces: 1. Certificate of advancement to the rank of Second Lieutenant within the 6th Roșiori Regiment of the cadet Pârvu Boerescu, June 25, 1908. The certificate is signed in handwriting by the Minister of War, General Alexandru Averescu. At that time, the officer was studying in Germany, at the Hagenau Dragoon Military School. 2. The certificate is accompanied by a letter from the Romanian Legation in Germany to Officer Pârvu Boerescu, announcing his promotion to the rank of Second Lieutenant. The letter carries the legation's seal and is dated and signed in handwriting by the chargé d'affaires Constantin G. Manu. 3. Certificate of advancement to the rank of Lieutenant within the 5th Călărași Regiment of Second Lieutenant Pârvu Boerescu, November 16, 1910. The certificate is signed in handwriting by the Minister of War, Division General Grigore Crăiniceanu. 4. Certificate of advancement to the rank of Captain within the 1st Roșiori Regiment of Lieutenant Pârvu Boerescu, May 28, 1915. The certificate is signed in handwriting by the Minister of War, Ion I.C. Brătianu. 5. Certificate of advancement to the rank of Major of Captain Pârvu Boerescu, November 30, 1919. The certificate is signed in handwriting by King Ferdinand. Officer Pârvu Boerescu was the son of General Constantin Boerescu.
