Dr. Constantin Vlad can be considered a true pioneer for two reasons. On the one hand, he is the one who introduced the concerns related to psychoanalysis in Romania, and on the other hand because, following the publication of this book, he can be considered one of the initiators of psychohistory. His work on Eminescu triggered a virulent critique from the literary environment, primarily from George Călinescu. The covers of the copy are damaged.
