Choosing perishable materials such as stone or bronze, the sculptor will have a thorough knowledge of the properties and possibilities that each of these will offer. His aspirations towards balance, towards synthetic, laconic expression, will make it possible for details to replace the whole, suggesting it. He will remain tied to the figurative and the freedom it will give him in terms of plastic organization, often turning to the theme of portraiture. Among the figures portrayed, we note personalities such as: Octav Băncilă, George Oprescu, Ion Agrârbiceanu, Ștefan Luchian, Antonin Ciolan, Alexandru Cazaban, George Enescu, Mihail Eminescu, Dimitrie Cantemir, Pushkin, Rodica Șuteu, Dinu Lipatti, Ion Jalea, Teodor Rogalschi, Jules Cazaban, Rodica Soutzu, Constantin Brâncuși and so on.
