Street Alexandru Lăpușneanu, formerly Uliță Sârbească, is the most pleasant promenade place in Iași. Par excellence, this is a space for creation and inspiration. Not coincidentally, it was referred to as the street of music, the street of joy, of summer theatres and cinemas, of photography workshops, of literary inspiration. The Union Museum was the residence of Alexandru Ioan Cuza, and before that, the meeting place of the unionist boyars. On the opposite side was the house of Neculai Istrati, the anti-unionist. At the union, when Iasi loses the status of capital, it flies a flag of mourning, seeing in this fact the decline of Moldova. "For years I have been wondering what this chimerical muse of Lăpușneanu Street looks like, which has kept the fire of creation going for centuries. Some years ago, I experienced a meaningful vision, when I placed an interactive sculpture-object on the balcony of my workshop, showing that the creative spaces are here. It has been said that if you caress the muse on the nose you get all inspired. You can also make a wish! " (Felix Aftene)
