The order is made of gilded bronze in the National Mint workshops and was awarded to Romanian, German, and the rest of the Axis pilots in the Second World War. The Aeronautical Virtue Order is the first order in the entire world awarded exclusively to aviators, being established by King Carol II. The gold cross is in very good condition.
