Mirrored in the monumental, in sculptural ensembles or in busts, the work of the artist Guguianu orbits around the culture of the human body, to which he remains connected throughout his creation. Having been attracted by the universe of mythology and knowledge ever since the beginning, the artist marks his artistic instincts around the ancient, which he interprets on his own terms, like a modernist. By harmonizing the sentiments of the eternal feminine, tenderness and grace, the sculptor assigns value both to the external beauty, and, particularly, to the spiritual one, unless which the first could not exist. Within his vast repertoire, we encounter themes such as: meditation, nostalgia, motherhood, romance, rivalry, melancholy, aspiration, astonishment, riot, repentance, prayer or flight, which will find the echo in warm marble plays and glowing bronze.
